Class Name: Acting for Teens

Grades: Grades 8-12 

Class Description: In this collaborative 9 week course, we will explore contemporary, classical and musical theater acting styles through monologue work, scene study, and song. We will learn how to use our vocal and physical instruments to better specify our story-telling skills, with a focus on being active listeners and smart collaborators.  Students should come prepared in comfortable moving clothes (preferably black or dark grey), and should have a pencil, water, and a snack with them (if needed).

Class Day: 9 Tuesdays,

Winter Session: Jan 16, 23, 30, Feb 6, 27, Mar 5, 19, 26, Apr 2 (NO CLASSES Feb 13, Feb 20, Mar 12)

Class Time: 7:00PM-8:30pm

Class Length: 90 Minutes

Session Fee: $225.00
